Most of what homeowners need falls into one of these. Don't see yours? Call anyway.

EV Charger Installation

Level 2 chargers, any brand. Load calculation first, so you know whether your panel can handle it before you buy anything. Permitted and inspected.

Tripping breakers, dead outlets, flickering lights, and warm switch plates.

04

Lighting

Recessed LED, fixtures, ceiling fans, and exterior lighting.

About

A small shop, on purpose.

Band of Bloom's Electrical is a licensed C-10 electrical contractor based in Anaheim. I do the work myself, so the person who quotes your job is the person in your attic.

Before I start, you get a clear scope. While I work, I take photos of what I find. Permits get pulled when the code requires them.

How it works

Three steps. No runaround.

  1. Call, text, or send a request

Tell me what's going on. Photos of the panel or problem help me give you a real answer faster.

  2. Get an honest assessment

I'll tell you what you need and what you don't. You get a written price before any work starts.

  3. Clean, permitted work

Done to code, inspected where required, and cleaned up after. If something isn't right, I come back.

FAQ

Questions homeowners ask.

Do I actually need a panel upgrade?

Maybe not. You probably do if you have 100-amp service and are adding an EV charger, AC, or ADU; if you have a Federal Pacific, Zinsco, or Challenger panel; or if breakers trip when two large loads run at once. If none of those apply, I'll tell you so.

Do you pull permits?

Yes, whenever the code requires one. That includes panel and service changes, new circuits, EV chargers, subpanels, and rewires. I handle the permit and the inspection as part of the job.

How much does an EV charger install cost?

It depends mostly on two things: how far the charger is from your panel, and whether the panel has room for the load. Many garage installs near the panel take about half a day. Text me a photo of your panel and the spot where you want the charger, and I can usually give you a ballpark the same day.

My breaker keeps tripping. Is that dangerous?

A breaker that trips is doing its job. It trips because something is overloaded, shorted, or faulted. Resetting it over and over without finding the cause is the risky part. If the same breaker keeps tripping, have it looked at.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Band of Bloom's Electrical holds a California C-10 Electrical Contractor license, CSLB #1100143. You can verify any contractor's license on the CSLB license lookup.

Tell me about the job.

Fill this out and I'll get back to you, usually the same day. If it's urgent, call or text instead.

If you smell burning, see sparks, or have a hot panel, turn off the main breaker if it's safe to reach and call right away. If there's smoke or fire, call 911 first.
